Three Goal Shooting Game - Warm Up

Exercise Objectives:
This is a great shooting game that players at any level love to play. It develops each players attacking skills
and also demands quality goalkeeping. This is a warm up intro to 1v1 game and 3v3 game.
 
Field Preparation:
Use half a field. Three full size goals, cones, supply of balls, pinnies, unlimited number of players.
 

Coaching Pointers:
To start the drill, a goalkeeper is placed in each goal. Place the attacking players (with a ball each) at the starting position. On the coach's command, the first attacking player runs with the ball and shoots the ball so the goalkeeper can make a save. This is a warm up for the keepers. The next player inline repeats the drill. This is continued for several minutes until the goalkeepers are thoroughly ready for the shooting exercise.

Now the attackers must run at the cone with the ball, perform a dribbling move and try and score past the goalkeeper. Encourage players to experiment with a variety of moves.

Players should not wait, they should attack any open goal. Keep a fast tempo!

First player to score 5 goals wins the competition.
